Los Angeles
There some fabulous American restaurants in Los Angeles, some with a high price tag on the food (but with great ambiance and a terrific decor) and some that are much more reasonably priced. If you're set up to splurge, you can't go wrong with the seafood at McCormick and Schmick's. Beautiful wood interior, a business crowd during the day turns into very chic in the evening. Other steak houses just can't compare.
2. Inexpensive American Restaurants in Los Angeles
Applebee's and TGI Fridays are perennial favorites, and they are included here because everyone can always agree on them. With a huge variety of well-made food, they make everything well and you always know what you're going to get. Once you've found a favorite item on their menu, it's always going to be a favorite! In Alhambra and Ladera. Also making the list is the Outback Steak House. Even though it's nominally Australian, they serve steak and potatoes that even the pickiest chooser of the local American restaurants in Los Angeles will love.
